Prevent weather-related damage and keep your house warm and inviting for buyers
  • Contact a snow removal company before a storm hits
  • Do a spot check for any water damage or leaks after heavy rain or snow
  • Change heater filters (or switch to a permanent filter)
  • Winterize outside faucets and fixtures
  • Set your thermostat to a minimum temperature while you’re not home to prevent freezing pipes and uncomfortable showings
  • Remove window AC units
  • Protect any outdoor furniture
  • Keep an eye on outdoor planters, which may crack or break in extreme cold
